Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Deputy Lead)

About our client
our client is a US-based health-tech company building their flagship product — a unified platform for clinics, telehealth,
and pharmacy commerce. It brings onboarding, ordering, prescriptions, pricing, payments, and fulfillment into
one system, with white-label storefronts that let partner clinics sell under their own brand. Our stack is Node.js/
Express, React, PostgreSQL, and AWS, built to a HIPAA standard, with a React Native mobile app on the
roadmap.
We're a small, senior, AI-augmented engineering team. We use Claude Code and modern AI tooling heavily, so
we hire for judgment, ownership, and the ability to direct and review AI-generated code — not raw output. You'll
own real surface area and work directly with the CTO.
Working arrangement
- • This is a task-based role with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
You must be available for meetings between 5 PM and 1 AM Lebanon time (overlap with US working
hours).
The role
You'll be the most senior engineer after the CTO — the technical anchor and deputy lead. You own architecture
and delivery across the web platform, set the quality bar, and keep the team moving when the CTO is pulled onto
other priorities. When our mobile app begins, you lead it.
What you'll do
- Own architecture and technical decisions across the platform (Node/Express + React + PostgreSQL on
- • AWS).
Build and ship core features: payments (Whop), the pricing engine, multi-tenant white-label storefronts, and
provider/fulfillment integrations.
Act as deputy to the CTO — run day-to-day delivery, unblock the team, and lead code review.
Own production infrastructure part-time: AWS, CI/CD, monitoring, and our HIPAA security posture (with
support from a security consultant).
Lead the React Native mobile app build when it kicks off.
Direct and review AI-generated code (we use Claude Code heavily) to keep quality and security high.
What you bring
- • 5+ years full-stack, with deep React + TypeScript and Node.js.
Strong PostgreSQL — complex queries, schema design, migrations.
Production experience with payments and multi-tenant SaaS.
Hands-on AWS and CI/CD; comfortable owning infrastructure.

- • Excellent code-review judgment; able to own architecture independently.
Fluent English; able to work US-overlapping hours as needed.
Nice to have
- • React Native / mobile experience (you'll lead our app).
HIPAA or other regulated/healthcare experience.
Security mindset and experience hardening production systems.
Compensation
- $5,000/month base, guaranteed, paid in fresh USD.
Up to $1,000/month performance bonus, reviewed quarterly against clear targets: delivery against
roadmap milestones, production reliability/uptime, code-review quality, and keeping the team unblocked.
Remote; task-based, minimum 40 hours/week.
